Today marks ten days since my second vaccination. I will continue with a mask and distance because those are the rules, but I know and you know that I am already out of this business, thank God and the Pfizer scientists, a blessing on their heads.

So are my wife, my parents, and some of my children.
This is a reason for great happiness and great confidence in all the systems that were promised and with great effort have been implemented. There is a lot of news fog and a mess of reports, but smart citizens know very well that reality is not learned through the reports of our correspondents on depression issues who are spread out in the field, but through our personal lives.
The fact is that once we understood what this virus was, we knew the path well: they would open and close, and open and close, and the incidence would go up and down, and go up, and close and fight, and open and close, and open again a little, and that would be annoying.
And we knew that the economic situation of some of us would not be good because we would have no income, but we also knew that there would be fewer expenses and that the state compensation would help and that we would get through this; and we knew that it would be really difficult at home, with the children locked up and studying remotely or with the loneliness - but that it was a necessary price to prevent a pandemic and we would face it and there were also some advantages and plenty of food; we knew everything.
And most importantly, we knew that in the meantime, while all this was happening, good scientists would develop a vaccine, and until it was developed, nothing would be over; but when it arrived, it would be over.
And here it is. And it ends. Slowly and surely. That we have lived and sustained and reached this time.
None of this is relevant, of course, to those who have died or lost loved ones or suffered greatly. My heart goes out to you in pain and love. But everyone else:
A. Say thank you to everyone who brought us to this point.
B. Go get vaccinated.
C. Don't believe every word the media says.
D. Check carefully whether there are any unvaccinated people in your environment and do everything, gently at this stage, to get them to go and get vaccinated.
