Following Ze'ev Elkin's surprising resignation, the Prime Minister and a number of senior Likud officials, including ministers and Knesset members, held a conversation last night (Wednesday) near midnight, in which Netanyahu, among other things, harshly attacked Elkin for his friendship with Gideon Sa'ar. But that wasn't the end of the conversation or the criticism of Elkin: Knesset members began uploading jokes from the internet, mocking Elkin while exchanging laughs.
One of the jokes said that "Gideon will promote Elkin to Minister of Water and Minister of Tami' 4.".
MK Osnat Mark read a tweet from Twitter claiming that Elkin sounded like a state witness giving a speech.
