Just before you go for a walk or any other physical activity, it's important that you dedicate time to your sneakers.
Choosing the right and good sports shoes is one of the most important tasks for anyone who wants to purchase sports shoes for any activity. It is very important when we choose a sports shoe, to purchase a shoe from a well-known brand or company.
Karin Shahar, professional manager of the Mizuno Israel brand, triathlete and marathoner, provides tips and advice for choosing a sports shoe:
• The shoe must fit like a glove from the start, it should be tight but not too tight. There should be at least half a toe's space from the end of the longest toe when standing with the shoe laced. This is important because during exertion the foot expands by about half a size.
• The choice of shoe type varies between running shoes, aerobic training shoes, or gym shoes. There are also shoes designed for road running, cross-country running, competition shoes, and more.
• It is recommended to replace running shoes after every 1,000 -800 km, and it is also recommended to replace shoes at least twice a year.
• Sports shoes are divided into several groups: lightweight shoes (competition), trail shoes, training shoes, stability shoes (corrective), road shoes, and more.
• Don't be shy about trying on running shoes on a treadmill or while running in a store, or on a special shoe-measuring device - this test will give you the best answers about comfort and fit.
• Choosing a sports shoe involves various parameters such as: foot structure, body weight, type of sports activity, and more, so it is recommended to consult with the experts at sports stores so that they can fit you with the right shoe for you.
• If there is a model that you like and feel comfortable with - keep going with it and don't change.
Fit and comfort are the name of the game.
