Tonight (Sunday, the last day of Rosh Hashanah) a series of protest actions took place in the Haredi sector - against what they called "the government's lockdown.".

During the demonstration, Bnei Brak protesters blocked Hazon Ish Street in the city and set a trash can on fire. Some of the protesters shouted insults and "Nazis" at the police.

During the incident, a young man in his 20s was arrested, who police said was disrupting the order.

The police statement said that "a number of protesters began setting fire to bins and throwing stones at police officers, causing damage to a police vehicle. The police arrested a man in his 20s who was disrupting the order. Hazon Ish Street was closed to traffic in both directions.".

In the Shabbat square in Jerusalem, dozens of young men came out of the yeshiva and blocked the road.

In Beitar Illit, Breslov Hasidim demonstrated on Hachozeh Street in Lublin and blocked the road.

As reported on the eve of the holiday, Haredi activists ordered about 400 buses to Jerusalem and hundreds of additional buses to other cities for the holiday, with the aim of allowing travel between the cities despite the lockdown, ostensibly to the demonstrations.
