Lyrics to the hit "Between Holy and Abroad" in Yiddish (original lyrics, not a translation of the original song by Amir Dadon):

- Between the sacred and the secular, that's how I live / Between the sacred and the secular, I live
- One foot on the shore, the other sinks in deep water
- To be good and righteous, I strive / To be good and righteous, I strive
- Amidst high waves my ship sways.

- Busy all week to toil, to sow and to reap
- In the heart, light and darkness mingle together.
- A holy Sabbath, the soul is set ablaze / A holy Sabbath comes to set the soul ablaze
- And I am good at being close to God.
- Being close to God is good for me.

- Between the sacred and the secular, I stand alone.
- A narrow bridge between high mountains and low valleys, no valleys so deep / A narrow bridge between high mountains and low valleys
- The soul that will be pure and clean, washed clean
- The soul is yours, the body is yours, how can I express it / The soul is yours.. I declare

- Go to the prayers, with a pleasant feeling / Go to the prayers with a pleasant feeling
- When the king comes out to the people in the field,
- Horrible days, enough soul to ignite / Horrible days to ignite the soul
- Oh, how sweet, how good is the nearness of God to me / How sweet, how good is the nearness of God to me
- The closeness of God is good for me.

- My heart yearns and demands
- To you, beloved father, I want to be close.

- Not to drown in the deep sea
- Only delight in the Lord, in the house of the Father.
- Such great days, for us you have granted / Such great days, for us you have granted
- Oyszosheriyen, the nearness of God is good for me / to cry out, the nearness of God is good for me
- Being close to God is good for me.
