Dozens of masked terrorists threw stones and fired fireworks at police forces at the Mughrabi Gate on the Temple Mount this morning (Monday), as the gate opened to visitors. Police, Yasm fighters, and Border Guard fighters burst in and repelled the rioters, while removing barriers placed at the entrances to the site, closing the doors of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, thus stopping the riots. 5 police officers were slightly injured during the clashes, and received medical treatment at the scene. Meanwhile, Jerusalem police officers and Border Guard soldiers arrested 12 suspects overnight in connection with disturbances that occurred in the city over the past few days. In the past month, 430 suspects were arrested for disorderly conduct. After the riot was stopped, the police allowed visits to the mountain area for Jews and tourists, visits that are proceeding as usual.
