The Ministry of Health updated this evening (Monday) that 1,183 people have been infected with the coronavirus since midnight. According to the updated ministry data, there are 29,201 active patients in Israel, of whom 264 are in serious condition, including 80 on ventilators. 122 patients are hospitalized in moderate condition. So far, 22,060 have recovered. The pandemic has so far claimed the lives of 415 people, after four additional people died since midnight. According to the data, the percentage of positive tests was the highest in the past week - 8.1%. Yesterday there were 5.7% positive tests - the second lowest figure in the past week. In the distribution by areas of spread, Bnei Brak, Beitar Illit, Beit Shemesh and Hoshaya were classified as red cities. Jerusalem ranks first in the morbidity data with 8,705 confirmed patients in its area, followed by Bnei Brak with 5,555 patients and Tel Aviv-Yafo with 3,021 patients. Beitar Illit reported 1,390 confirmed patients, Beit Shemesh - 1,333, and Lod - 761.
