A maintenance manager at the Prime Minister's Office tested positive for the coronavirus.
This is an employee who came into contact with the Prime Minister, and therefore it is being examined when the employee met Netanyahu or his team - this is to decide whether the Prime Minister or members of his team will be forced to go into isolation.
Following the discovery of the coronavirus patient, the Prime Minister, Finance Minister Yisrael Katz, and Education Minister Yoav Galant are being considered for isolation.
The two were in the Prime Minister's Office alongside Netanyahu on Saturday night, when the three made a statement to the public about the virus and the need to increase social distancing.
The Prime Minister's Office responded: "An employee of the Prime Minister's Office has tested positive for coronavirus. An epidemiological investigation is currently being conducted, at the end of which appropriate instructions will be given to anyone who came into contact with him.".
If the Prime Minister is forced to go into isolation, it will be his third isolation.
In March, Netanyahu went into isolation after being exposed to advisor Rivka Falloch, who was diagnosed with the coronavirus.
Immediately after leaving isolation, he was forced to go back into another week of isolation, after Minister Yaakov Litzman contracted the virus.
