'I want to remind you, 20 and 25 years ago, of the terrible demonstrations by the Haredim when it was necessary to close the Bar Ilan Highway in Jerusalem.' She also said: 'I need to remind you of what happens when a young man receives a draft order even though he knows he will not be drafted. What kind of demonstrations and road closures do we get?".

The lawyer added and wrote: "Even if we follow Ms. Matshil's method and indeed a small handful 'used/will use' the right to demonstrate against conscription, we cannot learn from this minority about the generality. Since under the general name 'Haredim' there are different and diverse currents that are able to unite under one leadership called Lech, and this in an exceptional way, at the same time we cannot learn from a case attributed to a particular current about society as a whole.".

The organization "In His Image" told Haredim 10: "It is impossible for Rina Matzliach's words to be swallowed and disappear as if they were never spoken. As much as she refuses to apologize, the second authority must fine her and the channel for her inflammatory, generalizing, and racist words that would not have been said about any other group in Israeli society. We will not rest until racism against the Haredi public stops.".
