The strike at the Ashdod port has ended: the wheelchairs have been released.

Every year on Passover Eve, hundreds of sick, elderly, and pregnant women are released from hospitals and nursing homes to celebrate Passover at home. For some of them, the release is only possible with the help of equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, oxygen tanks, and more. As every year during this period, this year too, Yad Sara prepared for this and purchased a lot of equipment worth hundreds of thousands of shekels. Yad Sara's truck drivers are currently transporting large quantities of medical equipment to the branches. By the holiday, the amount of medical devices will be transferred three times greater than during a normal period.
