On the eve of Lag BaOmer 5770, Aharon Razel releases a hit song for this summer: "Olu".

The sacred lyrics of the song "Olu Banim Kaddishin" are from the Zohar composed by Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, in words he spoke to his disciples.

So how did the song come about? As always with Rabbi Aharon, it starts with a story.

""This happened to Alia Meron, a year ago on Lag BaOmer. I opened a small booklet that one of the Hasidim handed out at the Zohar distribution stand, called 'Torah Protects Us' with a commentary by the author of 'Sweet of Honey'.

""I started reading a little bit of it. There is no coincidence in the world, the page that opened included a short passage with these special words: 'When Rabbi Shimon's disciples came, he saw on their faces that they were engaged in God's love for the people of Israel, and immediately said: Come, holy sons.".

Razel, not surprisingly, was immediately captivated by the magical words.

""I had to compose the words! You could say that I heard Rabbi Shimon inviting everyone to the great mirth in a melody! Come, holy sons, come, sons who love the King, come, my beloved! And the concluding sentence: Come, sons who love each other! Wow! This is exactly the height of the work of these days, the days in which we remember and mourn the disciples of Rabbi Akiva who did not show respect to each other...".

Indeed, observing the words proves how much grace, love of God, and love of Israel are in these words.

The song itself is well-crafted and seems ready for the weddings and celebrations that are yet to come for all of us this summer.

Razel adds the notes of a surefire hit and is convinced that the song and the great spiritual energies imbued in it will delight many this year.

Aaron concludes with a wish for himself, and a blessing for all of us: May we be blessed with an abundance of love and brotherhood among the people of Israel and find peace of mind before our Father in Heaven.
