The police confronted Olmert with the recordings she passed on. Old man Shula.

Yesterday, attorney Navot Tel-Tzur - who served as Olmert's defense attorney in the Rashontours and Talansky envelopes cases - was questioned on suspicion of obstruction of justice in the Holyland case.

""We would expect the prosecution, which has so much power, to show a little humanity," says Olmert's media advisor, Amir Dan, following the investigation. "The prosecution's insistence that the police interrogate Olmert precisely now, a few days after his conviction and at a time when he has begun preparing for sentencing arguments, is intended for two purposes: to break Mr. Olmert at all costs, and to improperly influence the sentencing arguments process. This is a man who has been dragged through the mud for eight long years, and who just a few days ago was dealt an unexpected blow, which alone would surely have broken any other person.".

Olmert's interrogation ended after about eight hours. The interrogation is expected to continue in the coming days, and he will likely be required to appear for further interrogations.
