A unique app has been launched in the Android and iOS app stores. It's called Minyan Now, and its purpose is to share minyans based on location.
That is: if you are currently standing at the stock exchange in Ramat Gan, in the market in Netanya, or just on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, and suddenly you remember that you need to pray - you enter the app and announce a minyan that will be held where you are at the time you set.
All people who pass through the area and have the app installed on their device will receive a notification on their device informing them that the minyan has been met.
