For the first time in history: An expanded orchestra performs a unique rosary, combining the best prayer excerpts from the Hebron Yeshiva and the Temple of the prayer leader, Rabbi Shalom Shevdron, zt"l.
It is known that every Hebron graduate has a warm corner reserved in their heart, all year round, for the longing and yearning that prayer arouses during the High Holy Days.
A few months ago, a prestigious dinner was held for Hebron institutions in Petah Tikva. When the event's producers were thinking about how to excite the generous Hebron audience, they asked singer Kobi Greenbaum and the orchestra to perform, as a central part of the 'dinner', a rosary from the best High Holy Days excerpts in the 'Hebron Style'.
Kobi, who was the favorite student of the great Rabbi Shmuel Yaakov Bornstein, zt"l, and for 20 years heard the text from him, and Maestro Yehuda Galili, who also absorbed the text in the Hebron yeshiva institutions - joined the work, and together they produced a perfect, meticulous and uniquely historical product - a text of the High Holy Days in a musical production that has never been heard before.
Among the passages in the rosary that touch the heart: the order of work, the blessing of the priests, for behold, as a substance, indeed it is, and it has been given effect, as a control, today you will embrace us.
