Data from the company 'Vigo', which analyzes the discourse on social networks, shows that after the police recommendations against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a large majority of users (63%) express support for him, and only 29% support the police recommendations. This was published in 'Kan'.
These are the percentages of support that Benjamin Netanyahu received even before the police recommendations were published.
An analysis of the discourse on social media also found that Yesh Atid chairman, MK Yair Lapid, suffered a blow among right-wing supporters with 73% criticism.
Meanwhile, a political advisor who headed Netanyahu's political communications team between 2011-2013, and has since been considered one of his harshest critics, tweeted on her Twitter account, after Yair Lapid's interview with Hadashot 2:
""Yair Lapid's answer to Yonit Levy, according to which he did not remember the Milchan Law affair in 2016 and did not take the initiative to provide the information to investigators, sounds much less convincing than anything Netanyahu has said so far.
""After 4 years of criticism of Bibi, mainly on political issues, I am switching sides in favor of the Prime Minister and hope for the country that he will deal appropriately with the police recommendations.".
