Watch: Netanyahu family embraces • Mother in tears: "Our hearts are broken with longing""

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today (Friday) at the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem with the parents of Eyal, Gil-Ad, and Naftali, the three boys who were kidnapped last week by Hamas.

 At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister told the parents: "The people give you strength and you give them strength in return.".

Netanyahu emphasized to the parents that the mission of locating the boys takes precedence over everything else: "This is the central goal of the operational and intelligence activity we are carrying out, and all appropriate units are mobilized for this purpose. We have increased the forces on the ground, and we are investing a tremendous effort to reach the boys.".

 The Prime Minister's wife, Sara Netanyahu, told the parents at the beginning of the meeting that she returned very moved from the meeting with them and emphasized the strength of spirit, the strong faith, and the powers they demonstrate: "I ask to continue to strengthen your hand and embrace you together with the entire people of Israel. The entire people of Israel are waiting for the return of your sons.".

איריס יפרח, אמו של אייל, אמרה בתום הפגישה בשם כל ההורים: "אנחנו מודים על האירוח החם, על ההקשבה, על העידוד ועל התמיכה".  אתר YNET מדווח כי עם חזרתה לבית המשפחה באלעד, אמרה יפרח: "הפגישה הייתה חשובה, הייתה מחזקת באמונה ותקווה שכוחות הביטחון יצליחו במשימתם ויחזרו בשלום הביתה. הלב שלנו נשבר מגעגועים. אנחנו מבקשים מכל עם ישראל, בעת הדלקת נרות שבת להוסיף אור, לייחד את מחשבותינו עם הילדים שלנו שבעזרת השם יחזרו הביתה ויוכלו להיות איתנו בשבת". רחלי פרנקל, אמו של נפתלי, אמרה עם חזרתה לבית המשפחה בנוף איילון: "אנחנו מתקרבים לעוד שבת בלי אייל, גיל-עד ונפתלי וגם בלי כל כך הרבה חיילים שנמצאים עכשיו בשטח ולא יוצאים שבת. אני מבקשת ממי שיכול להמשיך ולהוסיף אור בבתים ולהתפלל".
