Special for diabetics: sugar-free cookies, for snacking with a cup of coffee

Want to snack on something delicious with a cup of coffee, but have you started a diet? Diabetic but love sweets? • An interesting suggestion for making sugar-free cookies, with a sweet taste • Courtesy of 'Coffee Jaffa' at the flea market

Materials:

50 grams almonds

50 grams pumpkin seeds

50 grams sunflower seeds

25 grams sesame seeds

25 grams coconut

2 proteins

50 grams of maltitol (a sugar substitute that looks like powdered sugar)

How to prepare:

• Place all dry ingredients in a bowl and sprinkle maltitol on top.

• Pour egg whites over top and mix.

Baking instructions:

• Place flat mounds on a baking tray.

• Large gaps are not needed because the cookie will not deflate.

• Bake at 135 degrees for about 40 minutes. The cookies should be golden and dry.

• When they cool, transfer to a box.

• You can vary it and add or substitute a variety of nuts or seeds.
