Avraham Dov Greenbaum, the editor-in-chief of a community newspaper, combines interesting tidbits in his columns, on politics and current affairs, that strike a moral chord in the reader. • The 'Copix' affair, which caused a stir for a few minutes during the winter season, caused him to pull out the story about Moshe Hanukkah. • That's what happens when everything depends on the form of presentation.

He is a journalist who combines both politics and current affairs in his columns; his columns are not really defined as opinion or moral columns, and yet, from time to time, Avraham Dov Greenbaum, the editor-in-chief of a community newspaper, has interesting tidbits that strike a moral chord in the reader.

Here is what he wrote about the topic that starred in the winter period - the 'Cofix':

""There's no problem paying less for a cup of coffee and a sandwich, and I wish Avi Katz would also decide to enter the electricity, gas and water company - and apply 'everything for five' to things that are the foundation of the Jewish home, not just its luxuries." The problem is in the form of presentation. "And he ate and drank and got up and went.".

But he also specifies:

""What caught my eye most of all was during a short tour I took in the city of Cofix. I entered one of the stores and in the center of it, a huge picture of the Mar'a Da'tra of the Harmil Landa stood before my eyes. I couldn't help but remember the well-known story about Moshe Hanukkah, who hung a picture of his grandfather from Morocco at the entrance to the falafel shop.

''Moshe Hanukkah, do you have kosher?''

''Of course it's kosher, it's my grandfather, you see...''

""If your grandfather were standing here selling and you were hanging out in the back – fine, but unfortunately it's the other way around..."'

Sadly, the rabbis have long been hung and framed, and they just won't dare to come out...""

Moral, in jest.
