The Chairman of the Bnei Akiva Institutions, Rabbi Chaim Druckman, and the CEO of the Bnei Akiva Yeshiva and Ulpan Network, Elchanan Galt, congratulated Yossi Cohen - a graduate of the Bnei Akiva Yeshiva Or Etzion - on his election to the position of head of the institution this morning (Tuesday).
"יוסי ששומר על קשר עם הישיבה הוא דוגמא ומופת לתלמידים לעשייה למען העם והארץ מתוך תחושה של שליחות, צניעות ועבודת ה'. אנו מברכים אותו בברכת 'לך בכוחך זה והושעת את ישראל' וגאים שהוא מצטרף לאותה חבורת הנהגה מובחרת שיוצאת מבית מדרשנו". הרב דרוקמן וגלט הוסיפו כי הם מאמינים שיוסי יצליח למען כל עם ישראל בתפקיד החשוב ביותר אליו נבחר. בבני עקיבא ציינו השבוע גם את כניסת המפכ"ל - שגם הוא בוגר הרשת. יוסי כהן עצמו התייחס הבוקר לתפקידו החדש, כאשר יצא מביתו שבמודיעין: "אני רוצה להודות לראש הממשלה על האמון. אני נרגש מאוד מגודל האירוע ומחשיבות המינוי. מדובר בארגון חשוב ובכוונתי להביא למבצעים טובים ומודיעין טוב לעם ישראל ככל שיעלה בידי".
