Several months ago, a resident of Modi'in Illit complained to the Binyamin police station that her husband had committed domestic violence offenses against her, including false imprisonment and more.
During the period following the complaint, numerous attempts were made to locate the suspect, but he eluded the police. The suspect was declared a "fugitive offender" by the Binyamin police station and an arrest warrant was issued against him by a rabbinical court - to which he also failed to appear.
Last Thursday, information was received at the Binyamin police station that the suspect usually flees when he sees the police. The information received provided the suspect's location in Modi'in Illit.
In a swift action, police officers from the Binyamin station dressed as ultra-Orthodox residents of the city, located the suspect and followed him until the arrest was made.
The suspect was questioned, confessed to the charges against him, and his detention was extended by a judge.
