Miracle in Jerusalem: A mother and her children, aged 3 and 5, ultra-Orthodox residents of Jerusalem, were slightly injured today (Tuesday) in a car accident on Derech Ha-Horesh Street in Jerusalem. Volunteer paramedics from the Jerusalem branch of United Hatzalah provided them with initial medical treatment and were then evacuated to a hospital for further treatment and tests.
Firefighters and police were on scene.
Nahum Bernstein, deputy head of the Jerusalem branch of United Hatzalah, said: "When I arrived at the scene, after receiving a report of a serious accident involving trapped people, I came across an overturned vehicle with the injured people inside who were fully conscious. Civilians helped them get out of the vehicle, miraculously suffering only minor injuries. After initial medical treatment that we provided them at the scene, they were taken to the hospital for tests.".
The mother was on her way with the children from the kindergarten and the haydar to their home.
