Not many remember, but one of the politicians (then retired) who supported with all his might the candidacy of the dayan, the gaon Rabbi Zion Bo'aron, in the race held two years ago for the position of Rashaltz, was Moshe Kahlon - who was already spinning the threads for a future run for the Knesset.

It turns out that for years there has been a close connection between the judge and the politician - both of whom are members of the Tripolitan community.

Last night (Monday), Rabbi Yochanan Davda, the Mashabak of the Grand Rabbinate of Arron, arrived at the Knesset, holding the book of Responsa 'Sha'arei Zion' in his hand.

On the first page of the book, written in the judge's handwriting, was a personal dedication to the one who currently serves as Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Kulanu Party.

""The minister came out of the plenary session especially, and on such a stormy day," Daveda told Haredim 10. He added that the minister received him "with special warmth and his special smile, as he conveyed warm greetings to the rabbi.".

The dedication reads: "To the esteemed and important Mr. Moshe Kahlon, the 16th.

""May God, the Most High, grant him the ability to ascend higher and higher and succeed in all his deeds, and to assist the people of Israel and more, to elevate the honor of the Torah and to be wise enough to stand on the right side of the poor and oppressed, and to be blessed with the triple blessing in the Torah: May He bless you - may He be exalted - may He bear you, O Achir,

""As a petition and blessing to his esteemed and respected friend, and with blessings for special success in his role in the people's cause... T. Boaron.".
