Materials:

1 kilo of flour.

50 g yeast.

200 grams of milk.

180 g sugar.

5 eggs.

Lemon zest from one lemon.

Orange zest, from one orange.

10 grams of salt.

150g soft butter.

Oil for frying.

Jam filling/or other.

Powdered sugar for sprinkling on top.

How to prepare:

• Using the dough hook: Pour flour into the mixer bowl, add yeast and mix again.

• Add milk, sugar, eggs, lemon and orange zest and mix everything on low speed.

• Add salt and continue mixing at high speed until you get a uniform and smooth dough.

• Add butter and mix until the butter is well incorporated into the dough.

• Knead until the dough doubles in size, and once it has doubled in size, divide the dough into 30 pieces and roll into balls. Grease the balls to prevent them from drying out and let them rise on a greased tray until they double in size again.

• Heat oil for frying in a pot. Fry one side until golden brown, turn and fry the other side.

• Fill with jam/chocolate or any filling the kids like. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
