And again: In recent days, the 'Egged' company began displaying on buses the number of days in which the 'Omer Counting' is being held - but after four days the updates were stopped.

The new and very topical project these days was presented as a service for passengers on 'Egged' public transportation, on internal routes in Jerusalem - on screens hanging at the front of the buses, and operated via the Netzer (fleet management) system.

Pressure, apparently exerted on the company by various factors, caused the publications to cease immediately.

The 'Eggad' company stated:

""This is indeed an advertisement made through the Nazar system, which is used mainly by bus operators and assists them in everything related to travel routes, stops, arrival times at destinations, and the like.".

""It was necessary to conduct a technical experiment on the system, so we chose to present something topical these days, which is not political or commercial. As soon as the experiment ended, this activity was also stopped.".
