This morning (Sunday), those arrested for disturbing the peace on Wednesday at the home of Deputy Supreme Court President Noam Solberg were brought to the Jerusalem Magistrates' Court for a hearing on extending their detention.
The police requested an 8-day extension of the detention of all those involved. "In terms of the reason for the dangerousness, there is nothing to add. The reason for the disruption is the respondents' lack of identification and impersonation of others. There is also the reason for escape. After the bus was stopped - on the way to the police station, two escape attempts were made.".
At the end of the hearing, the detention of 52 of the detainees was extended by 4 additional days - until 10.6.26.
Two more were sent under restrictive conditions to full house arrest in their homes until June 11, with a ban on contact with those involved in the affair and financial guarantees.
The investigation into the incident continues.
In recent hours, detectives from the Shi'ite District Police Department arrested another suspect, a resident of Beit Shemesh in his 20s, and he was taken in for questioning.
