A religious soldier from the Golani Brigade was expelled from Lebanon during the Sabbath - according to his friends, after he wore a Messiah patch on his uniform.
According to a report by Dvir Amar on Channel 7, this is a soldier from Battalion 12, who, according to his friends, serves in a designated role to handle explosive drones during the fighting.
According to the friends, on Friday afternoon, the outgoing 12th Battalion commander had a conversation with the battalion's soldiers. During the conversation, the battalion commander noticed the patch the soldier was wearing and asked him to remove it immediately.
The soldier complied with the request and immediately removed the patch, but a few hours later it was decided to remove him from Lebanon during the Sabbath. .
The fighter's friends criticized the decision: "It's crazy that during such intense fighting, the army is engaging in such things.".
