IDF forces in the Southern Command carried out a targeted attack in the center of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday and killed the terrorist Jamal Abu Aun, a platoon commander in the military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization, who also worked as a doctor at Yafa Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
As part of his role in the terrorist organization, he commanded Hamas terrorists and promoted and planned terrorist plots against IDF forces and the State of Israel. During the recent period, he was involved in promoting efforts to build strength, restore, and strengthen the Hamas terrorist organization, in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
The terrorist's terrorist actions constitute another example of the Hamas terrorist organization's cynical use of civilian positions to promote terrorist activity.
