As part of a complex undercover investigation conducted by the Crime Fighting Unit in the Ayalon region, a criminal gang was exposed that operated using a sophisticated and violent method, in which its members exploited victims who sought to have an intimate and discreet relationship with them.
According to the suspicion, each time a different gang member contacted the victims and arranged to meet them in isolated places. At the meeting place, the remaining gang members were waiting for them, who attacked the victims and blackmailed them with threats, threatening to reveal the meetings to their families if they did not cooperate.
With the transition to the open phase, four suspects in their twenties, residents of the Dan Bloc, were arrested last night. This morning, the police will ask the court to extend their detention.
