Folding or exercise? 'The "Committee for Saving the World of Torah" of the "Jerusalem Faction" announced this afternoon (Sunday) the postponement of the stormy demonstrations that were planned to take place today across the country - following the wave of arrests.
The decision was made following what they called "significant developments in contacts with the military authorities.".
The "Public Notice" stated: "In light of significant developments in contacts with military authorities, and following serious and advanced negotiations that have been underway in recent hours regarding the release of a large number of yeshiva students and avrechim from military prison, it was decided to postpone the planned demonstrations by 24 hours.".
The committee added: "As long as there are no satisfactory breakthroughs, the protest measures will continue in full force. Updated details regarding the dates of the demonstrations and the results of the talks will be published later.".
