The maximum price per liter of unleaded 95 octane gasoline for the consumer at a self-service station in Eilat (excluding VAT) will not exceed 6.61 NIS per liter, a decrease of 23 Agorat from the previous update. The surcharge for full service will be 21 Agorat (excluding VAT), unchanged from the previous update.

Batsheva Abuhatsira, Director of the Fuel and Gas Administration at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure: "The significant decrease in the price of gasoline at the station for the month of June stems from a combination of two factors - one, a decrease of approximately 5% in the dollar exchange rate, and a decrease of approximately 4% in the international price of gasoline. The decrease in price reflects the strengthening of the shekel against the dollar during the month, alongside a decrease in the international price of gasoline, which intensified towards the end of the month against the backdrop of progress in talks between the United States and Iran. The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure once again reminds us to compare prices at stations and wishes everyone a safe journey.".

The Fuel and Gas Administration in the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure publishes the price of 95 RON gasoline at the station for the following month at the end of each month, in accordance with the formula established in the Order for the Supervision of Prices of Commodities and Services.

According to the order, the price of gasoline at the station is based on the average of fuel prices in the Mediterranean Basin over five trading days, preceding the last two working days of each month.

In addition, the price includes a basket of marketing expenses, excise tax and value added tax. The translation into NIS is carried out according to the last representative exchange rate published by the Bank of Israel before the last two working days of each month.
