Nine-year-old Layla Jahja was shot to death today (Wednesday) in the town of Arara in northern Israel.
According to a report in Kan News, the violent incident in which the girl was killed began with an argument between two children. The father intervened, pulled out a gun and accidentally shot his daughter, who was hit in the neck.

She was evacuated to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera in critical condition - where they had to declare her dead.
Police arrested two people, including the girl's father. According to police sources, the scene was washed away before Shelila was taken for treatment.
