ZAKA volunteers were called today (Monday) to HaZeitim Street in the city of Ramat Gan following a report of a 30-year-old construction worker who was hit by a heavy object and pronounced dead at the scene.
Jonathan Israeli, head of the ZAKA team, and Elhanan Shahaf, a ZAKA volunteer, who are handling the scene: "The ZAKA center rushed us to Hazeitim Street in Ramat Gan. The person in question is actually a 30-year-old foreign worker, who was hit by a heavy object inside the site and crushed to death. With the assistance of additional ZAKA volunteers, we are assisting the ZAPA investigators who are working on the scene and collecting the findings at the scene.".
The body will be transferred for further treatment and investigation to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine.
