This morning, a report was received of a man who was found lifeless after apparently falling from a height in the Ramon Crater area.
Volunteers from the Negev Mountain Rescue Unit located the man and rescued him by helicopter. MDA teams were forced to confirm his death at the scene.
ZAKA volunteers from the Negev Region - Mitzpe Ramon team worked at the scene, treating the deceased with dignity and collecting the remains.
