The Samueli Institute for Cancer Research and Innovation at Beilinson Hospital received an unprecedented donation of $50 million (approximately NIS 150 million) from the couple, Dr. Henry Samueli and Dr. Susan Samueli.
This is the couple's second donation to the research institute, which was established at the Davidoff Center.
The Samueli couple: "We believe that Israeli excellence and knowledge, with the help of research budgets, will lead to a breakthrough in eradicating the disease.".
