In the afternoon, a report was received at the ZAKA hotline about the body of a man in his 80s who was found in an advanced state of decomposition in Pardes Hanna.
Northern District ZAKA volunteers were called to the scene and worked at the scene, treating the deceased with dignity and collecting the remains.
Ehud Amiton, a volunteer from the Northern District ZAKA, said: "This is a very difficult scene. When we arrived at the scene, we saw the body of a man in his 80s in a state of severe decomposition after no contact had been made with him for many months.

A fire crew called to the scene broke down the door and unfortunately found the man in a very serious state of decomposition. Northern District ZAKA volunteers are working at the scene with dedication and professionalism to treat the deceased with dignity and collect the remains.""
