Forces of the 769th Brigade Combat Team, under the command of the 91st Division, continue operations south of the front defense line in southern Lebanon - to prevent a direct threat to the northern settlements.
As part of the operation to expose and destroy terrorist infrastructure in the village of Al-Khayyam, forces found a tunnel about 25 meters deep inside a clothing store that served as the headquarters of the terrorist organization Hezbollah.
Inside the tunnel, weapons and rooms used to conduct combat by the terrorist organization were found.

"Building underground infrastructure within civilian spaces in Lebanon constitutes a planned, cynical exploitation of Lebanese residents to advance Hezbollah's terrorist goals.".
