The petitioners to the High Court of Justice against the appointment of Roman Gofman, the Prime Minister's military secretary, to the position of head of the Mossad, asked the High Court to issue an 'interim order' that would prevent Gofman from being appointed to his position until hearings and a decision is made in his case.
Judge Yael Wilner wrote in her decision: "The petition will be scheduled for hearing before the panel as soon as possible. At this stage, I do not see a need to issue an interim order.".
