65 teams from the Compensation Fund - property tax, accompanied by engineers and appraisers - have been in the various arenas since the beginning of the "Harry's Roar" and are providing assistance to citizens whose homes and property were damaged, in cooperation with representatives of local authorities.

24 of the teams are in the central region, 16 teams are in the northern region, and another 24 teams are in the Arad, Eshtaol, and Dimona regions.

In addition, a property tax team is located in hotels across the country where evacuees have arrived and assists them in filing claims.

Of all the claims filed since February 28, 22,871 are claims in which an appraiser has already visited the site and estimated the damage or claims filed in the fast track where an appraiser visit is not required - 81% of all claims.

The Tax Authority notes that there is a possibility of filing a claim in a fast track for damage to the structure and its contents only in an amount not exceeding 30,000 shekels. As part of this track, it is possible to receive approval for a claim without waiting for an assessor, up to 7 days from the completion of the claim in all its details. To date, 4,164 claims have been filed in this track.

""Due to the large number of claims, there may be a delay in the arrival of appraisers. The Compensation Fund recommends that injured parties use the fast track if possible. If this is not possible, it is recommended to contact professionals to receive price quotes before the appraiser arrives, in order to expedite the handling of the claim," the Tax Authority says.
