Chastity Watch activists arrived this evening at the synagogue of the Rebbe of Nitra, located at 17 Hazon Ish Street in Beit Shemesh - and vandalized the place. The reason: use of "a computer, iPhone and the like.".

According to Chastity Watch activists, a number of people with iPhones and smartphones have been praying at the synagogue recently. Recently, pamphlets were even published, according to which the Beit Midrash, located in a deserted shopping center at night, is being used by young men who use the place to watch movies and surf the Internet. In the meantime, the synagogue serves as a central place for evening and evening prayers for those who come to the shopping center in the ultra-Orthodox Kiryat in Beit Shemesh. The fact that there are iPhone owners among the visitors has managed to alert the leader of the local Chastity Watch organization.

This evening, while several yeshiva students were in the Beit Midrash, located inside a commercial center, a member of the Chastity Watch and a close associate of the Gaon Rabbi Natan Kupshitz, rabbi of the Nachla and Nechoha neighborhood, stormed into the scene and began to scold the young men: "Because of you, there are diseases and troubles in the city. Get out of our city, you unclean people.".

Residents who arrived at the scene called the police. According to residents' testimonies, the police did not want to receive testimony from eyewitnesses.

A formal lawsuit will be filed in the coming days against the five activists, including testimonies from worshippers who were at the scene.

The response from the Chastity Watch could not be reached.

One of the guys who was there toldHaredim10"We sat with a computer, but it has no Internet connection and we don't watch any movies. It's all a lie. We sat and wrote Torah novellas on the computer.".
