MK Limor Son Har Melech of Otzma Yehudit addressed Shin Bet head David Zini on her X-network account and warned him not to "follow in the footsteps" of Central Command Major General Avi Balut.
Sun Har Melech wrote: "Shinbak head David Zini, don't follow in Avi Balut's footsteps. The enemy in Judea and Samaria is the Arab enemy who continues to arm and strengthen, not the settlers. Diverting forces and transferring them to treating Jews will cost us human lives. Take care of yourself.""
The comments were made following a report according to which the head of the Shin Bet instructed the organization's operational unit to join, as a precedent, efforts to prevent violence by Jews against Arabs in Judea and Samaria.

In a letter sent by a Knesset member to Prime Minister Netanyahu on the subject, she claims: "This is a directive that defines Jewish activity as 'very explosive' and one that requires the use of operational tools that have not yet been used in this context.".
She asked Netanyahu to answer whether this was an instruction that was indeed given and approved by the political echelon.
