Serious car accident in Modiin Illit: Rescue forces were called this afternoon to treat a nine-year-old girl who was seriously injured by a vehicle.
As a result of the injury, the girl lost consciousness, and rescue forces performed life-saving CPR on her.
After successful resuscitation, she was evacuated for further medical treatment at Tel Hashomer Hospital, where her condition is described as serious.

The girl, a pedestrian, was hit by a passing vehicle on Yehuda Hanasi Street in the Brachfeld neighborhood.
A spokeswoman for United Hatzalah said: "A girl lost consciousness as a result of being hit by a car on Yehuda HaNassi Street in Modi'in Illit. Volunteer paramedics from the Modi'in Illit branch of United Hatzalah provided her with first aid. She was evacuated in an intensive care unit to Tel Hashomer Hospital, where her condition is described as serious.".
