A class action lawsuit worth 400 million shekels was filed against Israel's largest fuel company, Paz, after 100 of the 300 gas stations inspected showed neglect of station maintenance, with flooded, unusable toilets, mice and cockroaches. Dana Yarkachi's article on I24

It should be emphasized that this is a request to approve a class action lawsuit that has just been filed, and the company has not yet submitted its response to the court regarding the claims raised against it, since the deadline for receiving its response has not yet arrived. Therefore, the court has not yet made a decision on whether to approve the request filed today as a class action lawsuit - or to reject it.

Paz's response to Ynet: ""This is a delusional lawsuit. Paz operates according to the law and offers an excellent service experience to its customers. We are convinced that the court will determine that this is a ridiculous and childish blackmail attempt, and we are considering filing a defamation lawsuit against the failed lawyer who makes a living from blackmail.".

Attorney Yochi Geva responded On the Ynet website For the golden accusations: ""My office has only dealt with class actions for 25 years. Paz's response is childish and instead of answering the question of why the public toilets at its stations are not clean and are not maintained, as it is obligated to do under business licensing regulations, sanitary conditions at gas stations, and why it does not care about the well-being of its customers, who are entitled to it, it chooses to threaten. It would be better for it to investigate the claims and make sure they are fixed.""
