A former Supreme Court judge and someone who served as Attorney General during the 'disengagement' demonstrations from Gush Katif and supported sending thousands to arrest for blocking roads, claims that until the evening after the approval of the reduction of the probable cause this week - there were no significant roadblocks on the Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv.
""I don't remember them saying in advance that they would block roads. The only time I remember the road being blocked for a significant period was right in the evening after the Probability Law passed - and that was an unusual event," Mazuz said this evening in an interview with Yonit Levy on Channel 12.
Amit Segal, the channel's senior political commentator, tweeted:
""A truly amazing piece: Meni Mazuz, who was the attorney general who sent thousands of protesters to prison for organized roadblocks, explains to Yonit Levy that this time there were none.".
