
Winter has arrived on Hermon: The first long winter system of the season has arrived, and for the first time today (Sunday) light snow began to fall on Hermon - but for now only in the area of the military posts at the top of the mountain.
Tonight, which is expected to be particularly stormy, the rains will intensify and spread from the north to the northern Negev. There is a risk of flooding and inundation in prone areas, along with a chance of local flooding in the coastal and lowland areas.
Temperatures today will be lower than normal for the season.
The predicted temperatures for today: 19 degrees in Tel Aviv, 13 in Jerusalem, 17 in Haifa, 18 in Nahariya, 15 in Katzrin, 11 in Safed, 17 in Tiberias, 17 in Taibe, 13 in Ariel, 19 in Rehovot, 18 in Beit Shemesh, 18 in Beer Sheva, 23 at the Dead Sea and 24 degrees in Eilat.
Tomorrow, intermittent rain is also expected, accompanied by thunderstorms, from the north of the country to the Negev, and there is a risk of flooding.
The rain will continue until tomorrow afternoon and will only gradually weaken in the afternoon.
On Tuesday, local rains, mostly light, are expected from the north of the country to the northern Negev.
Temperatures will continue to be slightly lower than normal for the season, and the rains will stop during the day.
There will be a break from the rain on Wednesday, which is expected to return to the northern region on Thursday.
