Avner Netanyahu, the Prime Minister's youngest son, who does not usually intervene in the political world, published a post in support of his father and expressed hope that he will be re-elected to the position tonight.
"No matter what happens today, I love him and am proud of him the most in the world," Avner wrote on his Instagram page. "Every now and then I'm shocked anew, as if asking him, what do you need all this for? How much more comfortable your life and ours could have been in citizenship, I think you all know that my life would have been a little more comfortable if he had chosen this path.".
""But that question is never really asked because I see the dedication. He has a responsibility. He has a country to run, in all aspects of this trial.".
Avner added: "I am proud of him for the last 10 years, in which I know he has done and led the country, together with the Likud, to so many good things.
""I am proud of all the other public roles he has successfully performed. I am proud of the 24 years he raised me and of all his 69 years. I love him. And I am going to vote for him not out of hatred or because of the fear of the other possibility (a fear that certainly exists), but because I believe in Likud, I believe in Benjamin Netanyahu and I want 4 more successful years like this. Elections. How fun.".
