
IDF and Shin Bet forces arrested terrorists who fired shots at the settlement of Migdal Oz in Gush Etzion last Saturday.
The terrorists climbed onto the roof of a building in the village of Beit Fajar and fired from it toward the Jewish settlement, which is adjacent to it. There were no casualties and no damage was caused.
The suspects were identified by an observer in the brigade's headquarters, who reported this to the forces.
IDF soldiers rushed to the village and began searching. At the same time, an investigation into the incident began. In the end, the forces confiscated the weapons from which the shooting was carried out and the terrorists were arrested.
The observer who identified the terrorists when the shooting took place, Corporal Zamanei Tagania, said: "I identified several suspects who had climbed onto one of the roofs on the outskirts of the village. After a short time, I noticed that they had weapons in their hands, so I continued to follow them and directed the forces to the point.".
The battalion commander who led the capture of the squad, Lieutenant Colonel Benny Kata: "This is a successful closing of the circle that was accomplished thanks to the professional work of the observer and the fighters in the field. We will continue to act against anyone who tries to harm the residents of the area.".
