A large amount of cash was stolen yesterday (Tuesday) from the car of an ultra-Orthodox Jerusalem resident, which was intended to pay for his wedding expenses.

It was money she redeemed from his shop, located in the Geula neighborhood, to pay for his wedding.

His testimony revealed that he took the cash from the store, which was intended to pay for his wedding, and placed it in a bag in his car, as he returned to the store for a short time. When he returned to his car, he noticed that the bag with the money was gone - after the car window was left open.

Immediately upon receiving the report, the police made great efforts, both overtly and covertly, and several hours later they found the entire amount of money.

The police contacted the groom and invited him to the Lev Ha-Bira station to receive his money.

The groom thanked the police and said that he did not believe that his money, intended to pay for his wedding, would be located so quickly and returned to him. He thanked the police - who congratulated him on his wedding.

""We are happy to return your money, which is intended for a very important purpose, which is your wedding," the police said.

And the groom said: "I didn't believe they would give me back the money. Many thanks to the detectives, the Israel Police investigators and everyone who helped.".
