The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office, through Attorney Dikla Levy, filed an indictment with the Jerusalem District Court against Dror Hominer, 47, from Efrat, for serious acts against a minor and attempted serious acts against a minor under the age of 16.

According to the indictment, in August 2016, the defendant approached a 14-year-old minor whom he knew from the neighborhood, and offered him a job cleaning windows at a synagogue where he worked.

The minor came to the synagogue four times, while the defendant was there, and worked cleaning the synagogue windows for a fee. The defendant then approached the minor and made a serious offer, in return for which he would receive 70-100 shekels. The minor replied that he was undecided. From time to time, the defendant returned and asked him what his answer was. The minor responded positively to the defendant's offer.

The two agreed that this would be done after the minor finished the cleaning work.

In late August-early September 2016, after the minor had finished cleaning the synagogue, the defendant asked him to enter the synagogue's restroom and committed a serious act there.

According to another charge, about three weeks ago, on March 21, 2017, at around 12:30, two 14-year-old minors were standing outside the council building and community center in Gush Etzion. One of the minors was smoking a cigarette and the defendant, who works at the council's call center, approached them and asked them how old they were and how they could possibly have money for cigarettes.

The minors replied that they had money from odd jobs. The defendant offered the minors to work with him cleaning synagogues in Jerusalem. The minors said they would ask their parents. The minors left the council and returned to the scene a few minutes later.

The defendant approached them again and told them he had another offer for them, made them a serious offer - and told them they could earn 50-75 shekels.

10 days ago, on 3.4.17, at around 3:00 PM, the defendant called one of the minors' cell phones from the council phone, but the minor did not answer the call. A few minutes later, the minor arrived at the police station and, in coordination with the investigators, called the defendant back.

After the minor introduced himself, the defendant asked him if he could come on Wednesday. The minor said he would check and inquire with the defendant regarding the serious offer, saying that he was afraid.

The defendant said to the minor: "What do you have to be afraid of? You have nothing to be afraid of, it's natural, as it were...".

The defendant explained to the minor how to get to a synagogue in Jerusalem.

In response to the minor's question whether anyone else knew about the matter, the defendant replied in the negative.

The police are requesting to extend the defendant's house arrest until the end of the proceedings against him.
