Watch: An IDF ambush captures a terrorist 'red-handed' throwing stones on a road

Over the weekend, IDF, Shin Bet, Border Police, and police forces in the Judea and Samaria region arrested 24 wanted individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activity, popular terrorism, and violent disturbances against civilians and security forces.

A force from Battalion 636 conducted an ambush in the outskirts of the village of Harmela, which is in the area of ​​the 'Etzion' regional brigade.

During the ambush, the force identified several suspects approaching and throwing stones at the highway. The force arrested one of the suspects and he was taken to the police for questioning.

During weapons searches by IDF forces, in cooperation with the Israel Police, in the area of ​​the villages of El Omri, Yatta and the city of Hebron, the forces seized three weapons and additional weapons.

It was also reported that an IDF force carrying out a military mission near the settlement of Itamar in Samaria was attacked yesterday (Saturday) by Israeli rioters at the site with violence and throwing stones to the point of endangering the force. The force responded by using tear gas, riot dispersal devices, and firing into the air to disperse the rioters.

Three suspects were later arrested and transferred to the Israel Police for questioning. "The IDF views the use of violence against its forces with great severity and will continue to enforce law and order in cooperation with the rest of the security forces," an IDF spokesperson said.

Last night, shots were fired at an IDF position near the village of Ya'ebed in the "Menashe" regional brigade area. There were no casualties and no damage was caused.
