A 10-year-old girl was seriously injured before the end of Shabbat in the Geula neighborhood of Jerusalem, after falling from a trampoline in a playground.
United Hatzalah volunteers who were called to the scene provided her with initial medical treatment, after which she was taken to a hospital, suffering from bruises and head injuries.
Eliezer Taib, a paramedic at United Hatzalah, said at the end of Shabbat: "The United Hatzalah hotline received a call about a 10-year-old girl lying at the entrance to a residential building, after falling from a height in a public garden.
""When I arrived at the scene, we were told that the girl who fell from a trampoline at a playground had managed to walk towards her house and collapsed at the entrance to the building.
""Together with other paramedics who live close to the scene, we provided her with initial medical treatment and then she was evacuated to the hospital in serious condition and suffering from bruises and head injuries.".
